About Peripheral Vascular and Endovascular Specialist Dr. Rajiv Parakh:

Dr. Rajiv Parakh is an exceptional vascular surgeon, specializing in Peripheral Vascular and Endovascular Sciences. Currently serving as the Chairman of Medanta, the Medicity, he holds a remarkable position in the field.

Having pioneered one of the country’s first autonomous departments of vascular surgery in a city hospital, Dr. Parakh possesses expertise in Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, Carotid Surgery, Endovascular Interventions, Endovascular Repair of Aneurysm, Below the knee angioplasty, and Vascular Trauma.

Beyond his clinical contributions, Dr. Parakh has been actively involved as a convener for the National Board of Examiners’ teaching program. He earned his MBBS and MD degrees in 1981 and 1986, respectively, from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi. Additionally, he received his FRCS in general surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom in 1987.

As a founder and life member of the Vascular Society of India (VSI) since 1997, Dr. Parakh continues to make significant contributions, also serving as a member of the Executive Committee and Founder of the Endovascular Intervention Society of India (EISI).
