About Urologist and Renal Transplant Specialist Dr Rajesh Ahlawat:

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Ahlawat, a highly experienced specialist in Minimally Invasive Urology and Renal Transplantation, has more than 39 years of expertise. He played a pioneering role in establishing Urology and Renal Transplant programs in India, initiating them at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, Fortis Hospitals in New Delhi, and Medanta, the Medicity in Gurgaon.

Dr. Ahlawat has received prestigious accolades, including the USI President’s Gold Medal in 2016 and the Agra Urological Club Best Video (First Prize) in 2003. He is credited with pioneering the world’s first Robotic Kidney Transplant with Regional Hypothermia.

After earning his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from King Georges Medical College, Dr. Ahlawat pursued his MCh (Urology) from the renowned AIIMS College.
