About Gynecologic Oncologist Dr Manash Bishwas:

Dr. Manash Biswas serves as the Director of the Gynaecologic Oncology Department at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, bringing with him 18 years of expertise in Surg Gynaecologic Oncology. His academic journey includes earning his MBBS and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune. Further specializing in Gynaecologic Oncology, he completed his Fellowship at the esteemed Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai in 2002-03. Dr. Biswas expanded his knowledge through the Visiting Clinician program in Robotic and Gyn Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in 2010. With a background in the Armed Forces, he has contributed to cancer centres at Army Hospital, Research and Referral, Delhi, and Command Hospitals of Pune and Bangalore. Dr. Manash Biswas has also held the position of Professor and Head of the Teaching Departments at AFMC Pune and AFMC Bangalore.
